The International Association of Certified Home Inspectors is the world's largest non-profit association of residential and commercial property inspectors.

The Certified Master Inspector designation is awarded by the Master Inspector Certification Board and is the highest credential available to home inspectors. Fewer than 5% of inspectors nationwide have earned it. Requirements include 1,000 fee-paid inspections or 3 years in practice, 100 hours of inspection-related education, and a commitment to continuing education.
